Marine Technician Qualification & Skills

We are currently seeking a quality conscious marine technician with a strong work ethic at our Lake Havasu City, AZ location. The desired individual must be honest, reliable and have a positive attitude. We are looking to bring on someone who can work well in a team environment but will take initiative. This is a competitive high-end business and we are looking for a dedicated employee to be a part of our team.

• Must be able to communicate equipment issues, a plan of action and work completed to the service manager.
• Must have minimum 4 years marine mechanic experience.
• Excellent diagnostic skills a must
• Must have factory certifications. (Mercury, Yamaha, PCM, Mercruiser & Volvo)
• The marine mechanic will inspect, test and complete routine maintenance on boats.
• After completing work on the boats, they must keep records of what was done, parts used and any tests that were completed
• Participate in required training and take personal initiative to stay up-to-date on relevant service knowledge, bulletins and other changes regarding new and existing products.
• Appropriately assist other technician(s) when required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Must have your own tools
• Task orientated
• Team and detail orientated
• Clean driver’s license
• Ability to safely trailer and maneuver boats
• Ability to operate forklift
