Position Title: Strategic Resource Specialist

Location: Lake Havasu City, Arizona

Overview: The Strategic Resource Specialist will serve as a key liaison between the Lake Havasu Area Chamber and the Chamber Foundation for Education and Leadership. The primary focus of this role is to support strategic initiatives related to workforce development, education, advocacy, and member support. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, strategic thinking abilities, and a passion for community development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with leadership teams from both the Lake Havasu Area Chamber and the Chamber Foundation for Education and Leadership to develop and implement strategic plans for workforce development, education, advocacy, and member support.

2. Resource Coordination: Identify and leverage resources, including funding opportunities, partnerships, and community assets, to support the strategic objectives of both organizations.

3. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders, including businesses, educational institutions, government agencies, and community organizations, to build partnerships and support initiatives that align with the mission of the Chamber and the Foundation.

4. Program Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of programs and initiatives related to workforce development, education, advocacy, and member support.

5. Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of programs and initiatives, and prepare reports for internal stakeholders, board members, and external partners.

6. Communication and Outreach: Serve as a spokesperson for both organizations, communicating their missions, goals, and achievements to internal and external audiences through various channels, including social media, press releases, and community events.

7. Professional Development: Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging issues related to workforce development, education, advocacy, and member support, and share knowledge with colleagues and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, nonprofit management, or a related field
• Experience in strategic planning, project management, community development, or related fields.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and presentation abilities.
• Experience working with Chambers of Commerce, nonprofit organizations, or government agencies is desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
• Grant Writing Experience is preferred and necessary for this position
• Knowledge of the Lake Havasu City community and its economic, educational, and social dynamics is a plus.

Salary Recommendation: The salary for the Strategic Resource Specialist position will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. This range may vary based on factors such as the candidate's level of expertise, relevant certifications, and demonstrated track record of success in similar roles.
