SLP Job Description
Requirements:
Provide evaluations, assessments and ongoing therapy for children birth to three years
of age
Work as a part of a comprehensive multidisciplinary core team
Attend weekly team meetings
Provide one-on-one family sessions
Participate in Individual Family Service Plan meetings
Collaborate with other team personnel to achieve well-rounded care through coaching
and joint visits
Must be open to flexible schedules as needed for service provision to families
Must be available for hybrid services, in person and virtual
Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Speech Language Therapy
Meet all prescribed professional requirements and rules of professional conduct as a
Speech Language Pathologist including certifications and/or licensures
Completion of the AzEIP Standards of Practice for Early Interventionists within three
years of a start date is required
Must be able to complete a successful background check and obtain a Level One
Fingerprint Clearance Card
Feeding experience is a plus, but not required
Bilingual English/Spanish skills is a plus, but not required
Skills:
Ability to handle workload and travel to client's homes
Ability to build rapport with patients
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong leadership qualities
Must have basic computer skills, including word processing
Must have excellent and professional written and verbal forms of expression,
interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities
Develop and implement therapy programs that focus on the client's needs and wants
Work directly with patients to achieve maximum success
Record and document client's progress
Collaborate with other team personnel to achieve well-rounded care
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree with assistant licensure.
Appropriate certifications and/or licensures with 3-5 years of related experience
Pass state and federal background checks
Skills:
Ability to handle workload and travel to client's houses
Ability to build rapport with patients
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong leadership qualities
Must have basic computer skills, including word processing
Must have excellent and professional written and verbal forms of expression,
interpersonal and problem-solving skills
