Position Summary
The Administrative Specialist I provides entry-level administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. This role assists with clerical tasks, data entry, communication, and coordination of daily activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and document management
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other communications
- Maintain records, databases, and office systems
- Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, and calendars
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and basic documents
- Support team members with administrative tasks and projects
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
- Ensure office supplies are stocked and organized
The ideal candidate will exude a friendly and positive demeanor at all times and will work well with others. Basic mathematical skills, customer service experience, excellent phone skills, ability to multitask, and flexibility in scheduling are desired.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED and moderate (1 – 3 years) experience in an administrative support role, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid Driver's License of the appropriate class.
Qualified candidates will be required to participate in online testing, which will consist of Spelling and Data Entry. Candidates will receive separate testing notification via email or text messaging and must complete testing as instructed; no extensions of deadline will be given.
