VISITOR EXPERIENCE SPECIALIST - Part time, weekend position, may include some weekdays 

Job Title: Visitor Experience Specialist
Location: Lake Havasu City, AZ

Position Overview:

Are you passionate about tourism, customer service, and creating exceptional visitor experiences? Go Lake Havasu is seeking a Visitor Experience Specialist to play a key role in welcoming travelers, providing expert recommendations, and supporting retail operations at the Visitor Center. As a key member of Visitor Center operations, this individual will assist in managing visitor information, retail sales, and day-to-day logistics to ensure a smooth and engaging experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist visitors with a warm and professional demeanor, providing expert travel recommendations on accommodations, attractions, events, and activities.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of Lake Havasu City’s hospitality, dining, recreation, and tourism offerings.
• Oversee retail sales operations, including merchandising, inventory management, and point-of-sale transactions.
• Ensure the Visitor Center is well-stocked with brochures, maps, and retail merchandise while keeping displays organized and inviting.
• Assist in training and guiding visitor center staff and volunteers to uphold service standards.
• Utilize digital resources to provide accurate visitor information and travel assistance.
• Process visitor inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, ensuring timely and helpful responses.
• Support administrative tasks, including data collection, sales tracking, and visitor feedback monitoring.
• Collaborate with Go Lake Havasu’s marketing and tourism efforts by promoting events and local businesses.
• Maintain discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment in all visitor interactions.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of Lake Havasu City’s attractions, events, and tourism industry.
• Experience in customer service, retail sales, or hospitality preferred.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage operational responsibilities efficiently.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently while supporting a team environment.
• Comfortable using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic office software.
• Passion for tourism and creating memorable visitor experiences.
